Maricopa County Department of Transportation is conducting a public meeting to gather feedback about the preliminary design plans for the future Northern Parkway Program improvements planned between Sarival Ave and 67th Ave in West Valley.


Pulte Homes’ Plans to Develop 250 Homes... Pending HMO and City Cooperation

Ahwatukee (South Phoenix) - Pulte Homes is in the process of soliciting 51% of the neighborhood approval to put plans for 250 residential homes in front of the City of Phoenix council. The homes would be built on the currently closed Lakes Golf Course. The fledgling effort has a few hurdles to clear to become reality.

Opposition is being organized by a citizens group, SAVE THE LAKES.

Pizza Five85 Opening at Ray Rd & I-10 in Chandler

New pizza joint Pizza Five85 is opening at SEC Ray Rd & I-10, Chander, on Aug. 22 (2,434 SF). This is the chain’s first location in Metro Phoenix. Two additional locations in Avondale and Glendale will open in the coming months. The chain plans to open a total of 10 valley locations.

Chandler City Council approved zoning ordinances for Chandler Viridian, a $150M mixed-use project next to Chandler Fashion Center.

Elevation Chandler, a failed hotel-residential project, occupies a 10.55 acre parcel included in the site. Pending a successful development agreement between Hines Interests Limited Partnership with the city and all parties involved, the long-standing frame of the failed property would be razed.

Loop 303 Connected To I-10 For The First Time

In Goodyear, I-10 and Loop 303 are now connected. Additional ramps at the interchange will open in Sept. 2014.

Surprise Retail Center Sells for $12.5M

Kulwant Sarai’s Imman Enterprises LLC acquired Marley Park Plaza, SEC N Reems Rd & W Waddell Rd, Surprise, for $11.7M plus $750,000 for an adjoining parcel (77,500 SF). The buyer plans to build an additional 16,700 SF of retail space.
